Known to family and personal friends as Oliver Stokes Jr. and to the music scene as DJ Black N Mild, a well-known bounce DJ and radio personality died March 19 after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
BlackNMild is one of the hottest DJ’s in the whole South Eastern Region, mostly famous for his fire bounce mixes and was the 1st to have a mix show dedicated to New Orleans bounce music in radio history. Still today until his untimely death, Black continued to brings us that beat and pave the way for many Djs after him.
The radio personality and DJ was one of two coronavirus related deaths in New Orleans on March 19, reports Nola.com.
He leaves behind his wife and four children.
